In the first tournament of it's kind, Wollaston narrowly defeated West Rivers House to clinch the new inter-service pool cup. The winning team finally lifted the trophy after winning 4-3 in a nail biting competition enjoyed by all. "What a great night we all had," said Ruth Tomlin, service manager, "it was a really close game! How proud Wollaston were, with huge grins when the cup was presented to them, and a proud and special moment for me to see them so thrilled." West Rivers were praised for being excellent hosts and great sportsmanship was shown by everyone who took part. The next game will be against All Saints on the 18th March 2009.
