Four new contracts in 2008 for SFT
Southern Focus Trust (SFT) has had an impressive first six months in 2008, winning four new contracts, totalling £1.55 million and creating 18 new jobs.
SFT, which employs 450 staff across Hampshire and Dorset, will now be providing:
- A housing-related support service to people with a disability in Winchester and the Test Valley,
- A support and rent bond scheme to people in Eastleigh, New Forest, Havant, Fareham and Gosport,
- A supported accommodation service for people with mental ill health in Havant, and
- A Community Legal Advice Centre in Portsmouth.
This is a welcome reward for the charity as it looks to build on its services. Chief Executive, Nicola Youern, said: “It’s been a fantastic start to 2008 for us. We have put in place some impressive growth plans and, because we have a good reputation in the sector for providing high quality and innovative support solutions to individuals and families, we feel that these are very achievable.”
