Meet The Team

SFT Senior Management Team:

Nicola Youern - Chief Executive
Nicola has been CEO of Southern Focus Trust for over 12 years and has taken the organisation from a small subsidiary of Portsmouth Housing Association to a growing independent enterprise with a turnover of over £12m pa.  Nicola represents the organisation both locallly and regionally but also nationally and internationally, recently giving presentations for ACEVO in Brighton and London and at Euclid's international conference in Portugal in 2007.  Despite working with a range of stakeholders and representing SFT at a number of fora, Nicola ensures she keeps her finger on the pulse and regularly meets with staff and service users to maintain the vision and focus for the organisation.

Sally Hutfield - Director of Care, Support and Advice Services
Sally has headed up the organisation's care, support and advice departments for over 10 years, developing the vision, strategy and mission for the services that the organisation provides.  Sally is instrumental in winning new work for the Trust and developing innovative systems such as AIM, the organisation's Audit and Internal Monitoring System, and our Service User Inclusion strategy.

Jonathan Crutchfield - Director of Corporate & Property Services
With considerable experience of working within sector, Jonathan is the organisation's Company Secretary and provides invaluable advice to ensure the smooth running of the Trust.  Responsible for health and safety, environmental, property and legal issues, Jonathan also works closely with the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the Trust's impact report.

Jim Bain - Director of Finance
With a background in retail finance, Jim directs the Finance Department and is responsible for income, expenditure and payroll for Southern Focus Trust.  Jim is also responsible for setting the Trust's reserves strategy and liaises closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure the financial stability of the organisation.

Liz Page - Director of People & Learning
Liz recently joined the Trust with a wealth of Human Resources and Learning & Development experience, having formerly worked for Southampton PCT.  Liz heads up the HR team, our Learning and Development team and Premier Crew, our internal staffing agency.
